An introduction to our latest collection of recycled sunglasses.

A collection of recycled sunglasses made from broken and wasted frames in China that could only be thrown away. By collecting the material of these sunglasses close to the source and bringing them to our factory where they enter a unique recycling process. The frames are broken down and processed into their raw materials and are then ready to become a Babsee.

Polycarbonate

Polycarbonate, also hard plastic, is a product that can be easily reused. We use materials that are already there. We don’t want to produce anything new anymore. But reuse existing, discarded products in a clean way. To prevent it from ending up in the garbage dump for millions of years.

Why China?

For the reuse of discarded sunglasses, we switched to a fine factory in China. Because we want to break the cycle of using and make a difference, we got as close as possible to the source of the new sunglasses to be made.

100% recycled with certainty

Our factory is GRS certified. this means that your Babsee’s recycling process and material supply chain has been audited by the Global Recycling Standard, an independent body that is the world standard for recycled materials.

2023

From 2023, all the sunglasses are recycled. Due to the certification and our good relationship with our suppliers, we can be sure that the process is done correctly from start to finish.
The materials from which our products are made are traceable, which means that we have a guarantee of the origin of the materials.
